Yorkshire firm's latest acquisition

An international marketing services business based in Yorkshire has acquired the UK operations of marketing company MKM Group for £4.6 million.
The acquisition by CPP Holdings, which offers customer management services to business partners, is part of its drive to increase customer revenue and loyalty.
CPP employs over a thousand staff in York and two thousand around the world. It provides help and protection for people who have lost their credit and debit cards, mobile phone and identities.
Manchester-based MKM will now seek shareholder approval for the move and once the deal is completed, will de-list from the stock exchange.
The multi-million pound deal covers the bulk of MKM's business - Leapfrog Group, which designs and develops loyalty programmes for blue chip clients, and in-house travel agent Concepts for Travel.
If the deal is agreed, MKM will be left with its remaining trading activities in Australia, which stay under review, and shares in marketing firms Promodus and Stripe Marketing.
MKM said the deal would allow its interests to "be developed within a larger group which has the necessary resources and global client distribution to fully support and take advantage of its growth potential".
