The University of York is to hold a series of events to look into challenges facing business and enterprise.
Students from the Yorkshire institution will be working with colleagues from China and the US as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, which started on November 17th.
One of the sessions, entitled Business Without Borders, will involve York students collaborating with members of Zhejiang University via Skype and videoconferencing to work on case studies on business ventures in the UK and China.
"Staff and students have worked together to produce what promises to be a diverse and fascinating week for anyone with any interest in enterprise at all," said Andrew Ferguson, the university's business, community and enterprise manager.
He added that the involvement of US and Chinese students was an exciting new development.
Global Entrepreneurship Week will be looking into a number of society's key issues, such as poverty and climate change.
Facebook is one of the event's sponsors.
